Man Caught On Camera Burglarizing Open Garage and Unlocked Car


Mt. Juliet, Tenn. – Investigators are hoping to identify an unknown man who took advantage of an open garage and unlocked car to commit a burglary. During the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 20, 2015, the burglar noticed an open garage at a residence in the 200 block of Larson Drive. The burglar’s actions are captured on the burglarized home’s surveillance system, and the burglar does a u-turn on Larson Drive just prior to sneaking into the garage.

The burglar enters the garage and snatches a GPS device from an unlocked van. The thief attempted to enter the second, parked car in the garage, but it was locked. After committing the burglary, the thief ran back to his parked car and fled the area.

The burglar is described as a white male in his 40’s, approximately 5’10” tall, with a medium build and balding. He was wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt with two lines of writing on the front.
