Detectives Investigating Robbery of CVS Pharmacy at Target

Mt. Juliet, Tenn. – An unknown man forced his way into the CVS Pharmacy, located in Target, and demanded pills from the employee. Around 6:15 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2017, officers rushed to Target (401 S. Mt. Juliet Road) after Mt. Juliet’s Emergency Communications Center received a report that the CVS Pharmacy inside was just robbed.

A slender, tall, white male, having dark brown hair with frosted tips, approximately 6’2” to 6’5”, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, a red and black bandanna covering his face, dark blue jeans, and black and grey sneakers forced his way into the pharmacy around 6:00 p.m. and ordered an employee to fill a bag full of pills. The suspect stated he was armed, but he did not display a weapon. He ran out of the store and fled north through the Target parking lot.

No one was injured during this incident, and the suspect fled away with an undisclosed amount of scheduled narcotics. Investigators hope someone in the community will recognize the suspect and his clothing from surveillance images. In addition, detectives are working to enhance the video quality. If possible, enhanced video of the suspect will be released in the coming days.
