Mt. Juliet, Tenn. – Detectives are working to identify a suspect, who pulled $1,200 in cash out of a lost wallet to pay for merchandise. On Thursday, February 23, 2017 the victim realized he left his wallet at the Walmart, located at 300 Pleasant Grove Road. The victim called Walmart, who was not able to locate his wallet at the register counter.
Detectives quickly obtained video surveillance of a female suspect, who appears to be in the presence of her family, finding the wallet on the register counter. The suspect removed the cash from the wallet, used it to pay for her merchandise, and took the wallet with her.
Video surveillance revealed that the suspect appears to be an average build, adult, white female with dark hair pulled into ta pony tail. At the time of the incident, she was wearing a dark blue, full-zip hooded sweatshirt, grey pants, and tall black winter boots. She was accompanied by a stocky, adult, white male, wearing a grey “Jordan” jersey over a long sleeve grey t-shirt and blue jeans. The two adults appeared to have two children with them as well. The female and children left in a silver, late 2000’s model Honda Pilot SUV. The male subject left on a green and silver chopper-style motorcycle, wearing a dark helmet.
