Metro-Nashville Rape Suspect Apprehended in Mt. Juliet After Brief Search

Mt. Juliet, Tenn. – Multiple Mt. Juliet Police officers responded to the Hickory Hills and Willoughby Station subdivisions this afternoon after a citizen spotted a rape suspect in Hickory Hills. The suspect, who was wanted out of Metro-Nashville, was spotted running from the woods by a citizen on Maricourt Street near Brownstone Street around Noon on June 2, 2014. Moments prior, Mt. Juliet’s Emergency Communications center received a ‘Be on the Lookout’ from Metro-Nashville Police regarding the suspect possibly being in Mt. Juliet’s jurisdiction.

After the suspect was spotted by the citizen, multiple Mt. Juliet Police officers flooded the area to assist Metro-Nashville Police with their search. In addition, the public was alerted via text message about the incident with the suspect’s description. Thankfully, the suspect was taken into custody by a Metro-Nashville Police officer around 12:30 p.m. in the area of Devonshire Drive and Maricourt Street.Photo Jun 02, 1 20 11 PM
