$1000 Reward Offered in Shooting Investigation, Where Two Persons Shot at a Home in February

Mt. Juliet, Tenn. – The investigation continues after two unknown persons shot at a house in the 40 block of East Caldwell Street back in February. Detectives are now offering a $1,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s). On February 21, 2016 around 2:45 a.m., officers were summoned to the East Caldwell Street area after two concerned citizens reported hearing gunfire in the area. Officers eventually located a single home that had gunshot damage in the 40 block of East Caldwell Street.

Detectives responded to the scene, and further investigation revealed that an unknown dark-colored SUV pulled-up near the home. Two shooters from the SUV then shot at the home, using a handgun and shotgun. Detectives located two shotgun and around 10 handgun impacts. No rounds penetrated the home, which was occupied during the shooting. There were no injuries related to this incident.
