Mt. Juliet, Tenn. – The Mt. Juliet Police Department is now offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to a suspect identification and arrest in last week’s robbery of Country Casseroles. A sketch artist with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation worked with a witness today to develop a composite drawing. If anyone recognizes or thinks they recognize a person that looks like the composite drawing, they are urged to contact Mt. Juliet Police.
On Thursday, June 9, 2016 around 7:10 p.m., officers responded to Country Casseroles, located at 14285 Lebanon Road, after Mt. Juliet’s Emergency Communications center received a 911 call from the lone employee about a robbery had just occurred. As an employee was taking out the trash, an unknown man forced his way through the backdoor of Country Casseroles and took an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect was described as an average build, unshaven white male, 20 to 30 years old, having shoulder-length dirty brown hair, standing about 5’8” to 6’0” tall, weighing about 160 to 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a Bob Marley t-shirt with a large marijuana leaf graphic. The suspect surprised an employee at the backdoor and forced them back into the store to steal the cash. After taking the cash, the suspect ran out the back of the store. The suspect stated he was armed during the robbery, but he did not display a firearm.
No one was injured during this incident. Investigators hope someone in the community may have information about the suspect. Anyone with any information regarding this crime is encouraged to call the Mt. Juliet Police Department at (615) 754-2550.
