Mt. Juliet, Tenn – An investigation is underway after a resident found a burglar in her home. This morning around 5:30 a.m. an unknown male busted through the back door of a home in the 2100 block of Leesa Ann Lane. An adult female resident heard a loud bang and found an unknown male in the home. The male fled out the back door after he was spotted by the resident, who immediately called police.
Officers arrived on the scene and searched the area, but the suspect was not initially located. The suspect is described as a thin male, approximately 5’9″ tall, and a yellow bandana was covering his face. His race, approximate age, and clothing description is unknown at this time.
The investigation is currently in-progress, and officers do not believe the suspect is in the area. Residents near Leesa Ann Lane are encouraged to check their home surveillance systems for video evidence.
