Mt. Juliet, Tenn. – Retail staff, mall security, and officers all worked together to apprehended three shoplifters, who stole from six different stores in Providence Marketplace mall. Yesterday evening, around 6:45 p.m., officers were summoned to Best Buy, located at 401 S. Mt. Juliet Rd, for a shoplifting in-progress. Three men were in the store attempting to steal Bluetooth speakers, and they ran after being approached by store staff.

The men ran from the store in different directions throughout the mall, but they were all apprehended by officers after mall security and retail staff pointed-out their locations. The suspects couldn’t flee by car because one of the suspects dropped the car keys inside Best Buy.

Further investigation revealed that the alleged thieves also stole clothing from Dick’s Sporting Goods, JC Penny, Old Navy, Ross, and TJ Maxx. The stolen merchandise was returned back to the stores after officers located the items, including a small baggy of marijuana, in the suspects’ vehicle.
