Mt. Juliet, Tenn. – Police are on-scene of a potential armed individual inside a home near the intersection of Warren Hill Drive and Settlers Court in the Cobblestone Landing subdivision. Officers were originally summoned to the scene after receiving a report of an adult individual, suffering from mental health crisis, inside the home. The individual is the only person inside.
As a precaution, residents nearby have been asked to shelter-in-place. Multiple officers are on the scene, including members from the department’s Special Response Team.
Wilson County Schools have been notified, and school buses will not be dropping off children near the scene.
The incident is on-going, and residents should continue to shelter-in-place.
