8/23 7:20 p.m. Update: Mia was found safe and unharmed.
Mt. Juliet, Tenn. — Mt. Juliet Police officers are actively searching for 16-year-old Mia, who left her home without permission Sunday morning in the area of W. Division Street and Mt. Juliet Road.

Investigators believe Mia was picked up by an acquaintance and may currently be in the Nashville area. Officers are continuing efforts to locate her and are asking for the public’s help with any information that could lead to her whereabouts.
Mia is 16 years old, approximately 5’3” tall, and weighs approximately 120 pounds. She was last known to be wearing a short-sleeve black patterned T-shirt and red, orange, and white shorts.
