Mt. Juliet, Tenn. – A traffic stop Sunday night on S. Mt. Juliet Road near Providence Marketplace led to the apprehension of a Nashville man wanted on multiple serious charges out of Rutherford County.
At approximately 9:40 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2026, a Mt. Juliet officer conducted a traffic stop for a registration violation.
During the stop, the officer identified the driver as a 30-year-old Nashville man and learned he had four active warrants out of Rutherford County. Those warrants included Aggravated Assault, Domestic Assault, and two counts of Child Abuse, Neglect, or Endangerment involving a child under 8 years old.
He was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Wilson County Jail.
The arrest is another example of the importance of proactive policing and officers remaining attentive during routine enforcement activity. During the first six months of 2026, Mt. Juliet officers apprehended 342 wanted individuals, with 88% being non-residents of the city.
