Lebanon, Tenn. – A movie that shines light on Law Enforcement is screening tomorrow in Lebanon, and Middle Tennessee residents are invited to attend this special screening. The Journey Church, 212 Leeville Pike, in Lebanon is hosting the documentary film “Heroes Behind the Badge: Sacrifice & Survival” tomorrow on Friday, April 11 at 7:00 p.m.
This will be the first screening of the film in Tennessee, and the documentary recounts heartbreaking stories of law enforcement officers. Many of stories recount those who gave the ultimate sacrifice and were killed in the line of duty, as well as stories of those who survived a deadly encounter, but survived against all odds. This inspiring documentary will change the way we look at the men and women of law enforcement and highlight the unselfish acts of bravery they commit each day while protecting our communities.
To bring this movie to Middle Tennessee, Wilson County’s law enforcement agencies and local Fraternal Order of Police lodges have teamed up to make it happen. Not only is this a chance to show the public the issues law enforcement deal with regularly, but it is also a fundraiser for Middle Tennessee Concerns for Police Survivors and the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund. This event also includes a silent auction, demonstrations, and equipment displays that will be available for viewing at 5:30 p.m.
Ticket prices are: $15.00 at the door
